100 Happy Days Challenge: Day 57

A day of fun and surprises! ^_^


Happiness is...

   ...sleep! After the Clix events, I finally slept. *bliss*
   ...church at noon. After a long time, got to go to church at the cathedral again. I usually go to mass at the local parish church.
   ...food date with the little sister.
   ...movie date with friends. watched Rorouni Kenshin in action.
   ...the ATE/NANAY from the movie house gave us a free VIP pass to the pyro competition. We ended up not using it since it was limited to 4 people and we were still expecting more friends to join us. But the thought certainly tugged at the heartstrings.

100 Happy Days Challenge: Day 55 and 56

First off, you might be wondering why the two days are lumped together. You see, August 22 (day 55) was the Clix Geek Wars. It's a night of trivia game which is a part of the Clix Launching. The following day, August 23 (day 56) was the Clix Cosplay event. So yeah... It was a very hectic two days. So, the things to be happy about?


Happiness is...

   ...a successful Geek Wars with the biggest number of turn-out in Geek Wars history yet.

   ...bathing in the rain. Well, more like drenched actually. haha :D I helped assemble the HUGE tents in the rain. Thankfully, the skies let up and the rest of the night was dry.
   ...bonding session with the team.
   ...having a hotel room and rooming with another colleague.

   ...waking up with a free complimentary breakfast.

   ...a successful Cosplay event.

   ...hosting the Cosplay with my wonderful co-host TK (and not making a fool of myself).

got my hair straightened. I must say I'm impressed. Didn't know it was this long. hehe

   ...a bit of bonding with the rest of the team and with HS friends.


I'm pretty sure I didn't get to mention everything I was happy about. With so many things that happened, I am also happy that I can take a break and catch up on some much needed ZZZzzZzzs

Happiness is...

   ...breakfast at the local market.
   ...an adventure (spent the day at Mapawa Adventure Park in Malasag. Friends decided to take a dip in the stream and bathed under the falls. Me? Sleeping. haha)
   ...friends ;)
   ...spending time with Mother Nature

Happiness is...

      ...a very successful pre-event (after considerable time and stress).

Feeling that moment of fulfillment and success before bracing for the 3-day main event next week. Watch out CDO, Startup Weekend is coming! ;)

Kudos to these wonderful ladies, without whom, success wouldn't have been possible.

To commemorate this event (actually, I'm just so happy that all those stress and hours I slaved away paid off. haha :D ), I will also be posting a selfie - which will be very rare by the way. I'm not gonna bombard you with my face.I'd like to think I'm not a selfie kind of person. Don't worry! tehee ;) Besides, I wanted to remain somewhat anonymous - not that my friends or anyone close to me is gonna know anytime soon that I keep a blog here. So enjoy (or not) dear visitors! Not sure I'll be posting another that overtly shows my fat face. haha :D

           ...starting your day right (Church on a Sunday morning)
           ...staying in all day after a week's worth of work and stress. (Date with yourself in your room with your trusty laptop, downloaded movies and munchies on the side.)
           ...dancing in the rain. (brings back nostalgic memories of childhood)
           ...eating hot choco porridge in the cold. (made with lots of mother's love)
           ...playing with my fluffy buddy. :)

On the Way

The family was going somewhere (I forgot the exact location) when we saw the beach on the way. We decided to stop over and just enjoy the view and the waters for a while.

The Beauty that is Most often Taken for Granted

This flower was growing at the edge of a cliff. It was the only flower growing there and I just found its circumstances captivating. It was as if it grew there just to say it could survive when no one expected it to.
